Rynn says: “As Grimsby is known for fishing and history, I opted to make an art piece to bring the town some colour and additionally represent what the town's known for. Koi fish were chosen due to their colourful nature and the fact that they can represent themes such as balance, peace and connection, which seemed like good qualities to feature throughout town. I thought that doing art murals around the town would help liven it up and make it seem less dull.”
